Mathew is responsible for our Wills Trusts and Probate Department. Mathew has experience of dealing with a variety of complex estate administrations.

Mathew is a keen motorsport fan and has been following Formula One since childhood. He also follows the NFL (in particular, the New York Giants), and is interested in computing and gaming. He loves a good sci-fi or horror novel, and enjoys film.

AREAS OF LAW

He advises on the drafting of Wills and Trusts, the administration of estates, Court of Protection matters, and Lasting Powers of Attorney.

EXPERIENCE

Mathew has advised in a significant number of complicated estates during his career and enjoys nearly 16 years of private client experience. Clients appreciate not only Mathew’s wide knowledge in such areas, but also how he does not lose sight of the fact that this is often the most difficult time of their lives.

MARTIN KIMBERLEY

BACKGROUND

Martin was born and brought up in Nuneaton and has many links with the local community. He plays tennis and table tennis in local leagues with a modicum of skill and great determination.

CAREER

After attending Aberystwyth University, Chester Law College and completing his training, Martin qualified as a Solicitor. He has specialised in dealing with private client matters for more years than he would care to admit. Martin prides himself on his thorough approach. He retains his enthusiasm for the work and can bring to bear his wealth of experience in a friendly and approachable manner.

INTERESTS

Playing sport, watching films and TV, socialising with friends and family.

Trained with Hale Randle & Stevenson and joined Cocks Lloyd as a Partner on qualifying as a Solicitor. Now a Consultant and lecturer at the University of Leicester.

Alison joined Cocks Lloyd in 2016, having completed her Legal Practice Course and Masters Degree in Birmingham. Alison undertook her training at Cocks Lloyd where she gained experience in a variety of areas but largely focusing on Private Client matters. Upon qualification as a solicitor in 2019, Alison joined the Wills Trusts and Probate Department where she advises and assists in the drafting of Wills, administration of estates and Lasting Powers of Attorney. Alison also assists in the sale of property from Estates as part of the administration process.
