Sammy is the friendly and welcoming face of Cocks Lloyd, serving as the firm’s Receptionist with over 16 years of experience in customer service. Sammy’s journey at Cocks Lloyd began in 2008 when she joined as a junior admin assistant, quickly demonstrating her dedication and talent. She soon progressed to become the full-time receptionist, where she excels in assisting clients both in person and over the telephone, often helping them through challenging times with empathy and understanding.
As the first point of contact for clients, Sammy plays a vital role in ensuring that everyone who walks through the doors of Cocks Lloyd feels supported and valued. She provides assistance not only to clients but also to multiple departments within the firm, including accounts, probate, and conveyancing, whenever needed. Sammy’s responsibilities extend beyond reception duties; she also manages general administrative tasks such as handling office archives, ordering supplies, and obtaining quotes, making her an essential part of the smooth operation of the office.
Sammy particularly enjoys interacting with and supporting elderly clients, finding fulfillment in offering them the extra care and attention they need. She thrives on the variety that each day brings, eagerly embracing new challenges and continuously seeking opportunities to learn. Beyond her regular duties, Sammy actively participates in office activities, including charity events and the office quiz, adding to the positive and engaging atmosphere at Cocks Lloyd.
One of the highlights of Sammy’s career was when she was given the opportunity to learn and cover accounts for two weeks, a role she thoroughly enjoyed. She takes great pride in receiving positive feedback from both staff and clients, as it reflects her commitment to providing excellent service.
Outside of work, Sammy cherishes spending time with her family, especially her three beautiful children. She loves making lasting memories through family outings, long walks, and baking. She also enjoys holidays and unwinding with a cheeky Malibu and Coke.
