With around one year of experience in the field, Jamie-Lee brings enthusiasm, dedication, and a keen interest in civil litigation to her role, alongside her ongoing studies for the Legal Practice Course (LPC).

Jamie-Lee’s previous experience in civil litigation sparked her interest in the field, which she finds both fun and challenging. She values the opportunity to work on diverse and complex matters, helping clients navigate legal processes that may otherwise seem overwhelming. Her role involves managing communications between Matthew and clients, explaining legal documents, ensuring deadlines are met, and providing updates to maintain clients’ confidence and peace of mind.

What Jamie-Lee loves most about her job is the variety of cases that civil litigation brings and the chance to assist clients during difficult times. She takes pride in making legal matters more accessible for clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout the process. Her approachable and proactive attitude helps to put clients at ease, enabling them to focus on resolving their issues while knowing they are in capable hands.
Jamie-Lee is deeply committed to delivering work to the highest standard and staying client-focused. She believes clear communication and dedication to meeting expectations are key to building trust and achieving the best possible outcomes for clients.

One of the highlights of Jamie-Lee’s legal journey so far has been volunteering with Support Through Court during her undergraduate studies. This experience provided her with valuable insight into offering legal support to vulnerable individuals, which has further enhanced her empathy and client-care skills.

Outside of work, Jamie-Lee is focused on completing her LPC and developing her skills within the field of civil litigation. Her passion for learning and her commitment to supporting clients ensure she is a valued member of the Litigation Department at Cocks Lloyd.

I baught a residential property using cocks llyods as my conveyancer, the person looking after me was Sarah Payne, she was so amazing to work with, responded to my e-mails promptly and informed me of everything required before I had to do it, she also did some perfect work with the duedilligance making sure I got everything I wanted and more.
I could not recommend her more she helped ture a stressful process into something that was quit agreeable, and I also had some help form the receptionists who helped make sure payments went through well and that I was doing things right.
The price was also very competitive being well over £100 below a quote from one of there competitors.
