Chloe Behan-Edwards
Chloe Behan-Edwards is a dedicated Legal Assistant within the Family Law Department, bringing with her over five years of experience in the legal sector. With a strong commitment to learning and professional development, Chloe supports the team with enthusiasm and a drive to continuously improve. She works closely with Elizabeth, and Faye but also works with other Care Department Solicitors and fellow Legal Assistants to ensure the smooth running of client matters with efficiency and care.
Chloe was drawn to family law because of its deeply human element. She finds great purpose in helping clients through some of the most difficult and emotional times in their lives. Her role allows her to contribute meaningfully behind the scenes — supporting solicitors by drafting key documents, coordinating with clients and courts, and maintaining a calm, organised approach throughout every stage of a case. She takes pride in knowing that her work helps provide a steady and compassionate service to families when they need it most.
What Chloe loves most about her role is the opportunity to make a real difference. Every day presents a variety of tasks and challenges, and she finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of a team that genuinely changes people’s lives. Her attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and empathetic nature make her an invaluable asset not only to the solicitors she supports but to the clients who benefit from her care and diligence.
Chloe’s legal journey has already seen her achieve significant milestones, including graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Law & Practice during the height of the pandemic — a testament to her resilience and determination. As a member of the Law Society since 2019, she continues to build on her knowledge and experience, embracing her new chapter at Cocks Lloyd with excitement and ambition.
Outside of the office, Chloe enjoys a creative and fulfilling life. A proud cat mum to five feline companions with “charming personalities,” she previously worked in the pet care industry and still finds joy in spending time with her animals. She also enjoys arts and crafts, colouring, listening to audiobooks, and photography — building a portfolio that reflects her artistic eye and appreciation for life’s small moments. Chloe’s warmth, dedication, and thoughtful approach make her a valued member of the family law team and a friendly face for clients navigating complex situations in the field of Family Law. Her passion for learning and her commitment to supporting clients ensure she is a valued member of the Department of Family Law.
