The Partners and staff at Cocks Lloyd are delighted to welcome Rachel Taylor. Rachel joins as Head of the Commercial Property Team.
Rachel has a vast array of knowledge and experience having worked exclusively as a commercial property solicitor since she qualified in 2004.
Rachel will work alongside Emma Billings, Head of our expanding Residential Property Team. Emma continues to undertake both commercial and residential property work.
Rachel can assist in a wide range of matters including development and infrastructure agreements for large scale commercial and residential developments, acquisitions and sales of industrial, office, retail, agricultural and hotel, pubs and other leisure sector properties, assisting Landlords and Tenants in dealing with leases, assignments, consents, variations and other Landlord and Tenant matters as well as residential property transactions. Rachel has a background in the voluntary and community sector and has assisted numerous charities, town and parish councils and sports clubs and community organisations with property matters.
Rachel was born in Nuneaton and has strong links with the local community in Atherstone and North Warwickshire. Rachel spent 10 years as a Wimbledon Umpire and Lines-judge and plays league tennis for 2 local teams in her spare time.
Alongside Rachel we are also pleased to welcome Louise Beacham, who has worked closely with Rachel for over 5 years and will continue to assist Rachel here at Cocks Lloyd.
