Lavena Sahjpall
Lavena Sahjpall is a Legal Assistant in the Private Client Team, having joined the department in April following her previous role within a Trust Conveyancing team. With a strong background in both technical and client-facing aspects of private client work, Lavena brings a calm, compassionate approach to her role, supporting individuals and families during often sensitive times in their lives.
Lavena works closely alongside Alison Coles, a Senior Solicitor in the team, providing day-to-day support in the management of client matters. Her attention to detail, combined with her ability to communicate clearly and empathetically, makes her an invaluable part of the team. She takes great pride in ensuring that clients feel supported, informed, and reassured throughout what can be a complex and emotional process.
What Lavena enjoys most about her work is the opportunity to connect with people on a personal level and provide a steady, supportive presence during life’s more difficult moments. Whether assisting with wills, probate, or estate planning, she approaches each matter with care and professionalism, ensuring that clients are treated with dignity and respect.
In her previous role, Lavena delivered quarterly training courses on trust conveyancing, offering both technical guidance and insights into current practices. This experience highlights her strong understanding of the legal landscape and her confidence in sharing knowledge with others – skills she continues to bring into her current position.
Outside the office, Lavena enjoys travelling and recently ticked off a long-held dream of visiting New York. She also loves spending quality time with her dog, family, and friends. Her approachable nature, combined with her legal knowledge and client-focused mindset, makes her a valued member of the Private Client team.
