Am I able to make a claim?
You may be able to make a claim for compensation following any accident or injury where somebody else is at fault. This may be following an accident at work, a road traffic accident, a fall or even a criminal assault. When you come to see us you will see an experienced Personal Injury Lawyer who will be able to give you advice on your claim.
What will it cost me?
To protect you from being out of pocket, your initial meeting with us will be entirely without obligation. If we accept your case, you will benefit from our “No Win – No Fee” scheme which will ensure you will have nothing to pay. If you do win – unlike claims agencies we will not take any percentage out of your damages, and we will recover the costs of bringing the claim from the other party’s insurer. You may already have insurance to pay for legal expenses – if so we will deal with your insurers for you.
What can I claim?
You can claim compensation for your injuries and the impact that they have had on your life, and also any reasonable expenses that may have been incurred by you as a result of the accident. There may be costs of treatment received, loss of earnings, car hire charges etc. There may be other losses that you have suffered, and we will be able to advise you as to whether they can be claimed.
Is it worth making a claim?
Because you see us without obligation, you have nothing to lose by speaking to us. Even relatively minor injuries can attract awards of compensation in excess of £1,000.
What if I am partly to blame?
Even if you were in some way partly responsible for the accident, you may still be able to make a claim. If you have concerns, we will be able to discuss this with you at our first meeting.
What if my Car Insurers appoint solicitors to deal with my Personal Injury Claim?
When you contact your Motor Insurers about your accident, they may say you have legal expenses insurance that covers your legal costs. Your Insurers may then appoint solicitors or claim handlers to act for you, who may be many miles away from your home. Let us approach your Insurers to see if we can handle the claim for you under the terms of your policy. If your Insurers refuse to allow us to do so under the terms of your policy then we can deal with your claim on a “No Win – No Fee” basis ensuring your claim is dealt with locally and that you have access to a solicitor you can talk to.
Will I have to go to Court?
You will not normally have to go to Court at all. Virtually all cases are settled without the need for a court hearing, by negotiation with the Insurers. As Specialist Injury Solicitors we have many years of experience in negotiating claims on behalf of our clients.
